 Pike
 In the 1950´s pike were introduced into these deep lagoons and it soon became apparent that they adapted to their new environment very quickly, in the past years the forestry commission also introduced rudd, destined to be food source for the aquatic birds and of course the pike quickly turned onto them and started to pile on the weight.
This venues is a real challenge for the dedicated Pike angler, with an unknown potential and many different waters to choose from it is a real pike anglers paradise, we have personally seen and captured and witnessed many pike in the 10 to 15 kilo range and the largest to date over an incredible 20 kilos.
It is a real pleasure fishing for these predators in these crystal clear waters, add to this the spectacular markings of these fish and the incredible surroundings and what more could one ask for…
Dead baits, lures, spinners or even fly can work well, in the winter the lagoons are almost deserted and you have the choice of many different swims or perhaps you prefer to fish from a boat. Just let us know what you need and we will be only to happy to make sure that you trip runs smoothly.
