Carp
Carp fishing in Spain is a completely different concept form fishing in the UK, France, Holland or any other European country. Spain offers a unique chance to fish unpressured waters in the very best weather, forget bivvy city or any other stigmas attached to normal carp fishing and come and fish for some really wild hard fighting pristine fish.
The carp in this chain of waters do not lack food as the waters are extremely rich in natural food, abundant crayfish, mussels and bait fish ensure that these carp are extremely fit.
It is forbidden to fish in some of the lagoons so Peter will help select the right venue for you. The fishing can vary a lot from lagoon to lagoon, each body of water having its own enchantment and secrets, Peter has been fishing these waters for over 10 years and will tell you himself that he still has a lot to learn.
The lagoons vary greatly in size and depth, heavily weeded bottoms and depths of up to 20 meters, some of the margins can be over 4 meters deep, but don’t let any of this worry you as we will be on hand to give expert advice and help out, be it that we are fishing 2 meters from the bank or over 350 meters. We have the equipment and know how to help you catch some very special fish.
As to the carp, in all the lagoons common carp are the most frequently caught though there is also a good head of mirrors, including linears and fully scaled carp. As to size, this depends on the lagoon that you choose to fish, all the waters contain fish over 30lb and some over 40lb in some of the waters there is a bigger head of smaller fish which can make it harder to get to the larger fish, It all depends on you choice of fishing, bends in the rod or go after that biggie. Once again Peter will be on had to offer all the advice that you could possibly need.
The weights mentioned are only relative to the fish we have actually caught, we know that there are many that have never been landed, we wont bore you with the stories of fish that have got away or estimated size of fish that we have seen, come and find out for yourselves and have a real adventure.
Allow us to bring your food and drink to your swims while you enjoy the fishing, oh and by the way suntan lotion, sunglasses and hats are a must.
If you like to catch carp but are not into the big ones then have a look at our course fishing section.
